Jodi Arias, born on July 9th in 1980, was found guilty of first degree murder on May 8th, 2013.
Arias was arrested for murdering her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander, in 2008. After finding out her boyfriend wanted to date another woman Arias stabbed him in a jealous rage.
The victim was found in a shower in his home by his friends. He had sustained 29 stab wounds, a shot to the head as well as a slit throat. When arresting Arias she claimed it was all in self defense and that Alexander had attacked her due to her dropping his camera.
